The Tortoris S21 is a safety knife with automatic blade retraction, drawing the blade back the moment the thumb releases the slider. Its ergonomic plastic housing and large, smooth-running slider are built for frequent use — up to 1,000 cuts a day.
A quick conversion switches the slider between left- and right-handed use. Cutting depth runs through eight steps, from 0 mm (transport lock) up to 37 mm, and the magnetic blade holder allows tool-free changes at the workstation. At under 50 g, the S21 stays light through long shifts, and the built-in transport lock protects the blade when the knife is stored or carried.
The S21 covers everything from logistics and shipping to retail, automotive, leather and textile processing. It has proven itself in the film and paper industry for splicing rolls: the flexible blade extends and curves to cut long paper or film rolls cleanly.
